VNRVJIET, a premiere engineering college of Hyderabad has signed an MoU with Idealabs FutureTech Ventures to launch the Idealabs Innovation Hub. As part of the Idealabs innovation hub, the faculty and students of VNRVJIET College shall collaborate with Idealabs and its clients to build innovative solutions especially with a focus on Agriculture domain. A year long calendar of activities including several bootcamps, Hackathons, Mentor talks, Industry visits and investor connect has been planned as part of this initiative.
The MoU follows a long standing relationship between the College and Idealabs who have been working together over the last few years conducting initiatives on emerging technologies.
Speaking on the occasion, the HoD of ECE department, Dr. Y. PadmaShayi mentioned that the students have been getting immense benefits including quality placements in top notch companies because of the association with Idealabs.
The Principal Dr. C D Naidu thanked Idealabs for its support and expressed hope that this association will help create entrepreneurs and startups on campus.
The Dean of the college Dr. Chanekeshwar Rao also appreciated the approach of having a calendar of initiatives across the year instead of piece-meal approach.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Diwan, CEO of Idealabs thanked the management and Academic leadership of the college and announced joint initiatives in R&D and collaboration for product development on emerging technologies.
